"Let's go out for a hillwalk" someone said.. So we did. This is a few of the club members up in the hills of the Black Mountains in which we had a luvverly wander and day out. The logic behind it was to wander while taking-in a few of the hills' stranger visual attractions - those of crashed aircraft from the past.
We saw some curious stuff out there including the remains of a WW2 Vickers Wellington bomber and a 1950's De Havilland Vampire fighter jet. After a busy day of wandering between these odd spectacles we decided to discuss the day's finds at a local pub..
